Filling and Wontons
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Duck
Season the duck breasts with salt and pepper. Cook them skin-side down in a skillet over medium heat until the skin is crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes until medium-rare. Let them rest, then chop finely.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into small pieces.
- 3
Make the Filling
In a bowl, combine the chopped duck, corn, cream cheese, and bacon. Mix until well combined.
- 4
Assemble the Wontons
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
- 5
Fry the Wontons
Heat oil in a deep skillet. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- 6
Prepare the Sriracha Mayo
In a small bowl, mix sriracha and mayonnaise together until smooth.
