Steak Preparation

Season the Steak
Generously season the sirloin steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Rest the Steak
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
Fries Preparation

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips for fries.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the cut potatoes to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
Garlic Butter Preparation

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

Add Garlic and Parsley
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the melted butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the chopped parsley.
