Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the salmon is well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C). If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are evenly distributed.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  3. 5

    Garnish and Serve

If desired, sprinkle fresh dill over the grilled salmon for added flavor. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
