Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the OMAHA Beef, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty, about ¾ inch thick.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.

  3. 5

    Toast Buns

While the patties are cooking, place burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until toasted.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Preparing the Fries

  1. 7

    Cook Fries

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add frozen French fries and cook according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy.

  2. 8

    Season Fries

Remove the fries from oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while hot.
