Preparing the Burger Patty

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the OMAHA Beef, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

Form Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty, about ¾ inch thick.
Cooking the Burger

Preheat Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Grill Patties
Place the burger patties on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.

Toast Buns
While the patties are cooking, place burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until toasted.

Cook Fries
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add frozen French fries and cook according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fries from oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while hot.
