Preparation Steps
- 1
Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook them in a skillet over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- 2
Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan, heat the tomato sauce over low heat until warm. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
Assemble the Sandwich
Slice the sub rolls in half. On the bottom half, layer sliced chicken, pour the warm tomato sauce over the chicken, and top with mozzarella cheese.
- 4
Melt the Cheese
Place the assembled sandwiches under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 5
Serve
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot with a side of fries.
