Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Patty

Form the ground beef into a patty about 1 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and black pepper to taste.

2

Cook the Patty

Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patty and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.

3

Toast the Bun

While the patty is cooking, you can toast the burger bun in a separate pan or on a grill until golden brown.

4

Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Layer with lettuce, tomato slice, pickled onions, and top with the other half of the bun.

5

Serve

Serve the burger with a pickle spear on the side.
