Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

Fill a large pot with water and add salt. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water for later use.

Sautéing Vegetables

  1. 4

    Heat Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Add Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but not browned.

  3. 6

    Cook Vegetables

Add the diced zucchini, sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, broccoli florets, and halved cherry tomatoes. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 7

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss to combine.

  2. 8

    Add Seasoning

Pour in the reserved pasta water, black pepper, and chopped fresh basil. Toss everything together to coat the pasta and vegetables evenly.

  3. 9

    Serve

Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm and enjoy your Pasta Primavera!
