Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rub

In a medium bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Prep the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Apply the Rub

Generously apply the rub all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).

  5. 5

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 3 hours.

  6. 6

    Add the Vinegar

After 3 hours, remove the ribs and brush with apple cider vinegar. Return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes.

  7. 7

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, brush with BBQ sauce, and bake for another 15 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  8. 8

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
