For the Chicken Melt
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
- 3
Melt the Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place two slices of pepper jack cheese on each chicken breast and cover the skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
Remove the chicken from the skillet and place each piece on a hamburger bun. Drizzle with buffalo sauce if desired, and top with lettuce and tomato slices.
- 5
Serve
Close the buns, serve immediately, and enjoy your Chicken Melt!
