Prepare the Brisket
Trim excess fat from the brisket point and season generously with a rub made from brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

Marinate
Place the seasoned brisket in a covered container and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).

Smoke the Brisket
Place the marinated brisket point in the smoker and smoke for about 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

Double Smoke
Once the brisket is done, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes before cutting it into cubes.
