Brisket Sandwich Ingredients
Method
Brisket Sandwich Directions
- 1
Prepare the Brisket
In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, and Worcestershire sauce to create a rub. Rub this mixture all over the brisket, ensuring it is well-coated.
- 2
Cook the Brisket
In a slow cooker, place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom. Add the rubbed brisket on top and pour the beef broth over it. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
- 3
Shred the Brisket
Once the brisket is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then, shred the brisket using two forks.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
Place a generous amount of shredded brisket on the bottom half of each sandwich roll. If desired, top with coleslaw and BBQ sauce before placing the top half of the roll.
