Wings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 3
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in hot sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and vinegar until well combined.
- 5
Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated. For naked wings, skip this step.
