Wine Ingredients

Method

Winemaking Process

1

Harvesting the Grapes

Hand-pick the Montepulciano grapes at their peak ripeness.

2

Crushing the Grapes

Crush the grapes to extract the juice. You can use a wine press or do this manually.

3

Fermentation

Add yeast to the grape juice and allow it to ferment in a sealed container for about 1-2 weeks, stirring occasionally.

4

Adding Sugar and Water

Dissolve the sugar in warm water and add it to the fermentation mixture to enhance sweetness, if desired.

5

Sulfite Addition

Add sulfites to the mixture to prevent unwanted bacteria and oxidation.

6

Aging

Transfer the wine to oak barrels or stainless steel tanks for aging for at least 6 months for better flavor development.

7

Bottling

Once aged, filter and bottle the wine. Ensure bottles are sterile before filling.

8

Enjoying the Wine

Allow the wine to rest for a few weeks before drinking for optimal flavor.
