Baking Instructions
Prepare the Dough
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Mix the Sugars
In a large bowl, beat together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Combine Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Chill the Dough
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll them in powdered sugar until completely coated.
Place the powdered-sugar-coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
Cool
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
