Pasta Preparation

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Heat a grill pan over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Continue to stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Combine and Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine pasta with the Alfredo sauce. Toss until the pasta is well coated.

Serve
Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm.
