Preparing the Diabla Sauce

Step 2: Add Tomato Sauce and Chipotle
Stir in the tomato sauce and chopped chipotle peppers. Cook for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Step 3: Season the Sauce
Add lime juice, salt, and black pepper to the sauce. Stir well and remove from heat.
Cooking the Shrimp

Step 1: Cook Shrimp
In the same skillet, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the shrimp turn pink and are fully cooked.

Step 2: Combine with Sauce
Pour the previously prepared diabla sauce over the cooked shrimp. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly and heat through for another 2 minutes.
Serving

Step 1: Prepare Plate
On a large plate, place a portion of cooked rice on one side and the California vegetables on the other.

Spoon the shrimp and diabla sauce onto the plate, next to the rice and vegetables.

Top the shrimp with shredded lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo.
