Filling Preparation

Prepare the Peaches
Wash, peel, and slice the fresh peaches. Place the sliced peaches in a large mixing bowl.

Mix the Filling
Add granulated sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, and all-purpose flour to the bowl with peaches. Stir gently until the peaches are well coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish
Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, mix the milk, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour the topping mixture over the peach filling in the baking dish, spreading it out as evenly as possible.
Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the peach cobbler in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
