Method

Juicing the Oranges

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oranges

Wash the fresh oranges under cold running water to remove any dirt or pesticides. Pat them dry with a clean towel.

  2. 2

    Cut the Oranges

Using a sharp knife, cut each orange in half across the equator.

  3. 3

    Juicing the Oranges

Using a citrus juicer or a manual juicer, squeeze the juice from each half of the orange into a bowl or pitcher. Make sure to catch any seeds that may fall out.

Optional Add-ins Preparation

  1. 4

    Add Lemon Juice

If desired, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the orange juice for a tangy flavor. Stir well to combine.

  2. 5

    Sweeten with Honey

For sweetness, add 2 tablespoons of honey to the juice, adjusting to taste. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.

  3. 6

    Garnish with Mint

Chop or tear the mint leaves and sprinkle them into the juice for an aromatic touch. Stir gently.

Serving the Juice

  1. 7

    Chill or Serve Immediately

You can refrigerate the juice for about 30 minutes for a chilled drink or serve it immediately over ice.

  2. 8

    Enjoy

Pour the orange juice into glasses and enjoy fresh. Optionally, garnish with a slice of orange or a sprig of mint.
