Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Oranges

Start by juicing fresh oranges to yield 2 cups of fresh orange juice. If you prefer, you can use a juicer or manually squeeze the oranges.

  2. 2

    Chilling the Ingredients

Chill your champagne in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. This will ensure your mimosas are refreshingly cold.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combining Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the 2 cups of fresh orange juice with 2 cups of chilled champagne. Stir gently to mix the ingredients without losing the fizz.

Serving

  1. 4

    Pouring the Mimosas

Pour the mimosa mixture into champagne flutes, filling each glass about halfway to allow for a lovely fizz.

  2. 5

    Garnishing

Garnish each glass with a slice of orange on the rim and a few mint leaves for a pop of color and added aroma if desired.
