Marinate Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken thighs and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Set aside.

Heat Oil
In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry Chicken
Remove chicken from the marinade, allowing excess buttermilk to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating. Fry in hot oil for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
