Tiramisu Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool. Once cooled, mix in the dark rum or coffee liqueur.
- 2
Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, then continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- 3
Mix the Mascarpone
In another bowl, gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream until well combined.
- 4
Soak the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- 5
Assemble the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone.
- 6
Chill and Serve
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
