1. Prepare the Glass
Fill a copper mug or a glass with ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
2. Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of vodka and 1 oz of fresh lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
3. Add Ginger Beer
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Top off with 4 oz of ginger beer.

Gently slap the mint leaves between your hands to release their aroma and add them to the cocktail. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
