BPT Sandwich Ingredients

Method

BPT Sandwich Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Tenderloin

Trim the pork tenderloin of any excess fat and slice it into four equal pieces. Use a meat mallet to pound each piece to about ½ inch thickness.

  2. 2

    Bread the Pork

Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper. Dip each piece of pork into the flour, then the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the breaded pork pieces for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the buns, cut side down, and toast until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Place a piece of fried pork on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with a slice of cheese, then add your choice of lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard, and ketchup. Finish with the top half of the bun.
