Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna

Finely dice the fresh tuna into small cubes, approximately ½ inch in size. Place it in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out into a bowl. Mash it gently with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cucumber

Peel the cucumber if desired and dice it into small cubes. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Chop Green Onions

Finely chop the green onions, both the green and white parts.

Mixing

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In the bowl with the diced tuna, add the soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, diced cucumber, and chopped green onions. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Plate the Tartare

On a serving plate, place a ring mold (if available) and layer the avocado mixture at the bottom. Gently spoon the tuna mixture on top of the avocado, pressing lightly to shape.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Remove the ring mold carefully. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chili flakes over the top. Add a few microgreens for an elegant touch.
