Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the goat cheese and cream cheese until smooth and well mixed.

2

Season the Mixture

Add garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh herbs to the cheese mixture. Mix until fully combined.

3

Form the Croquettes

Using your hands, take small portions of the cheese mixture and roll them into balls or patties, about 1 inch in diameter.

Breading

4

Set Up Breading Station

Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

5

Bread the Croquettes

First, roll each cheese ball in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate.

Frying

6

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

7

Fry the Croquettes

Carefully place the breaded croquettes in the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

8

Drain and Cool

Remove the croquettes from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serving

9

Drizzle with Honey

Once the croquettes are slightly cooled, drizzle with wildflower honey before serving.

10

Serve Warm

Serve the goat cheese croquettes warm as an appetizer or snack.
