Gather Your Ingredients
Collect your house spirit (whiskey, rum, tequila, gin, or vodka) and your chosen mixer. If you are using garnishes, have those ready as well.

Measure the Spirit
In a jigger or measuring cup, measure 2 oz of your chosen house spirit.

Prepare the Mixer
Measure out 4 oz of your preferred mixer. This can be soda, tonic water, fruit juice, or any other beverage you like.

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker or a glass, pour the measured house spirit first, followed by the mixer.

Shake or Stir
If using a shaker, fill it with ice, cover, and shake gently for about 10-15 seconds. If mixing in a glass, simply stir the mixture with a spoon until well combined.

Strain or Pour
If you used a shaker, strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. If mixed in a glass, pour directly into a serving glass.

Garnish
Add a lemon wedge and fresh mint leaves on top for a refreshing touch.
