Method
Preparing the Cheese

Selecting the Cheese
Choose two types of cheese that complement each other. For this recipe, we will use Brie and Aged Cheddar.

Cutting the Cheese
Slice the Brie into wedges and cut the Aged Cheddar into cubes. Arrange the cheeses on a large serving board.
Preparing the Crostini

Slicing the Baguette
Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Toasting the Crostini
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Preparing the Olives & Compote

Arranging the Olives
Place the mixed olives in a small bowl and set them on the board.

Serving the Compote
Spoon the fruit compote into a small dish and place it next to the olives on the board.

Place the almonds in a small bowl and position it on the cheese board.
