Preparation
- 1
Wash the Peppers
Rinse the shishito peppers under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- 2
Prepare the Seasoning
In a small bowl, combine sea salt and ranch spice mix. Set aside for later use.
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- 4
Blister the Peppers
Add the shishito peppers to the hot skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the peppers are blistered and slightly charred.
- 5
Season the Peppers
Once the peppers are blistered, remove the skillet from heat. Immediately sprinkle the sea salt and ranch spice mix over the hot peppers. Toss to coat evenly.
- 6
Serve with Lime
Cut the lime in half and squeeze fresh lime juice over the blistered peppers before serving. Optionally, serve with lime wedges on the side.
