Proteins Preparation

Cook Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Shred Chicken
If using pre-cooked chicken, shred it using two forks. If cooking raw chicken, boil in water until fully cooked (about 15-20 minutes), then shred.

Cook Shredded Pork
If using pre-cooked pork, warm it in a skillet over low heat. If using raw pork, cook in a slow cooker with desired seasonings on low for 6-8 hours until tender, then shred.

Prepare Lettuce
Wash and chop the lettuce into small pieces.

Shred Cheeses
If not pre-shredded, grate the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.

Diced Tomatoes
Wash and dice the tomatoes into small cubes.

Sour Cream
Place sour cream in a serving bowl, ready for use.
Tortillas Preparation

Warm Soft Flour Tortillas
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Warm the soft flour tortillas for 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Prepare Crispy Corn Tortillas
Fry the corn tortillas in hot oil for about 30 seconds on each side until crispy, or bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes until golden.
