Method
Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4-6 cups of salted water to a boil.

Cook Macaroni
Add the elbow macaroni to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the macaroni in a colander and set aside.
Making Cheese Sauce

Add Flour
Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes until golden, stirring constantly.

Add Milk
Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens, about 4-5 minutes.

Add Cheese and Seasoning
Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth and creamy.
Combine and Serve

Mix Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained macaroni to the cheese sauce, stirring until well combined.

Optional Topping
If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese on top for added crunch.

Transfer to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
