Cheese Sticks

Ranch Dipping Sauce

Method

Cheese Sticks

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cheese

Unwrap the string cheese sticks and set aside.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and bread crumbs mixed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder in the third.

  3. 3

    Coat the Cheese Sticks

Take one cheese stick, roll it in the flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the bread crumb mixture. Repeat for all cheese sticks.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Cheese Sticks

Carefully add the coated cheese sticks to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Ranch Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Whisk Together

Whisk the ingredients until smooth and well combined.

  3. 8

    Chill the Sauce

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the ranch dipping sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving.
