Burger Patties

Brisket Topping

Buns and Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, approximately ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Prepare the Brisket Topping

  1. 5

    Mix with BBQ Sauce

In a small bowl, mix the cooked brisket with the BBQ sauce until well coated.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a leaf of lettuce, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, topped with the brisket and BBQ mixture. Add pickles, tomato slices, and onion slices as desired.

  3. 8

    Complete the Burger

Place the top half of the bun on the assembled burger and press down gently.
