Burger Patty Preparation

Mix the Patty Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form them into burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.
Cooking the Burger

Cook the Bacon
In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.

Heat the Pulled Pork
In a small saucepan, heat the pulled pork over low heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.

Melt the Cheese
During the last minute of cooking the patties, place the cheddar-jack cheese on top of each patty to melt.
Assembling the Burger

Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each burger bun, place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese. Top it with heated pulled pork, crispy bacon, and drizzle with original sauce. Close with the top half of the bun.
