Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Patty Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form them into burger patties, about ¾ inch thick.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Grill or Pan-Fry the Patties

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.

  2. 5

    Heat the Pulled Pork

In a small saucepan, heat the pulled pork over low heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.

  3. 6

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the patties, place the cheddar-jack cheese on top of each patty to melt.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each burger bun, place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese. Top it with heated pulled pork, crispy bacon, and drizzle with original sauce. Close with the top half of the bun.
