Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.

Make the Dry Rub
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

Coat the Ribs
Rub the dry mixture generously over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Slow Cook the Ribs
Place the ribs in a slow cooker, bone side down. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until they are tender.

Prepare the BBQ Sauce
In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
