Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Glaze
In a saucepan, combine bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, cinnamon, ginger, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until the mixture has thickened slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

Sear the Salmon
Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for about 4-5 minutes. Flip the fillets and brush with the bourbon glaze. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Combine and Serve
Toss the cooked vegetables with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve the glazed salmon on a plate with the basil vegetable medley on the side. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the salmon for extra flavor.
