Method

For the Grilled Salmon

1

Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

2

Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Brush this mixture onto the salmon fillets and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

4

Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill. Grill for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

5

Garnish

Once grilled, remove the salmon from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

For the Lemon Sauce

6

Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

7

Add Lemon Juice and Zest

Once the butter is melted, add fresh lemon juice and lemon zest to the pan, stirring to combine.

8

Add Capers and Mustard

Stir in the capers and Dijon mustard, mixing well to combine all the flavors.

9

Season the Sauce

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.

10

Serve

Drizzle the lemon sauce over the grilled salmon before serving.
