Salmon Patties

Method

Prepare Salmon Patties

  1. 1

    Cook the Salmon

In a pan over medium heat, add a little olive oil and cook the fresh salmon fillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  2. 2

    Flake the Salmon

Once the salmon has cooled, use a fork to flake it into small pieces in a mixing bowl.

  3. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

Add breadcrumbs, green onion, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper to the flaked salmon. Mix until well combined.

  4. 4

    Form Patties

Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties.

  5. 5

    Cook the Patties

In the same pan, add olive oil over medium heat. Cook each salmon patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and let them rest.

Assemble Sliders

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Lightly toast the slider buns in the same pan or in a toaster until golden.

  2. 7

    Build the Sliders

On the bottom half of each toasted slider bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked salmon patty, a slice of tomato, and pickles if desired.

  3. 8

    Add Tartar Sauce

Top with tartar sauce if you like, then place the top half of the bun on the slider.

  4. 9

    Serve

Serve the sliders warm and enjoy your delicious Timmy's Salmon Sliders!
