Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Start by cleaning the seafood thoroughly under cold running water. Ensure that the shrimp are peeled and deveined, and the mussels and clams are cleaned and scrubbed to remove any sand or debris.

2

Prep the Vegetables

Cut the corn on the cob into halves and halve the red potatoes. Smash the garlic cloves with the side of a knife to release their flavor.

Cooking

3

Set Up the Steamer

Fill a large pot with about 1-2 inches of water. Place a steamer basket or colander over the pot, making sure it doesn’t touch the water. Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

4

Add Potatoes and Corn

Once the water is boiling, add the halved red potatoes and corn to the steamer basket. Sprinkle with a bit of salt and 1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning. Cover and steam for about 10 minutes.

5

Add Seafood

After 10 minutes, carefully add the shrimp, mussels, clams, and snow crab legs to the steamer basket. Sprinkle the remaining Old Bay seasoning, the smashed garlic, and additional salt and pepper to taste. Cover and steam for an additional 7-10 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and the mussels and clams have opened.

6

Finish with Butter

Remove the seafood and vegetables from the steamer and transfer to a large serving platter. Drizzle melted butter over the top and garnish with lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
