Stuffed Mushroom Caps

Method

Preparing the Stuffed Mushroom Caps

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped green onions, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

  4. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Spoon the crab mixture into each mushroom cap, packing it slightly to ensure it stays in place.

  5. 5

    Bake the Mushrooms

Place the stuffed mushroom caps on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  2. 7

    Add Garlic

Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  3. 8

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly.

  4. 9

    Serve

Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the baked stuffed mushroom caps before serving.
