Preparing the Shrimp

    Boil the Shrimp

    In a large pot, combine the water, sliced lemon, Old Bay seasoning, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.

    Once boiling, add the jumbo shrimp to the pot. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

    Remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for 5 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

Making the Cocktail Sauce
