Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's ready for baking the dip.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use a hand mixer or a spatula to mix until smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

    Add Crab and Flavorings

Gently fold in the crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined, but be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

Baking

  1. 4

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Transfer the crab mixture to an oven-safe baking dish and spread it evenly.

  2. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown on top.

Toasting Bread

  1. 6

    Prepare Bread

While the dip is baking, slice the fresh bread into 1-inch thick slices.

  2. 7

    Toast Bread

You can either toast the bread slices in a toaster, or brush them lightly with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet in the oven for the last 5-7 minutes of the dip's baking time.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve Hot

Once the dip is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Serve it hot alongside the toasted bread for dipping.
