Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Seafood

Rinse the clams under cold running water to remove any sand or debris. Set aside. Make sure the shrimp are peeled and deveined.

  2. 2

    Chop Vegetables

Finely chop the shallots, dice the bell pepper, and mince the garlic. Set aside in separate bowls.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Seasonings

In a small bowl, combine the Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallots. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.

  2. 5

    Add Bell Pepper

Add the diced bell pepper to the skillet, and continue to sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until the bell pepper is tender.

  3. 6

    Introduce Clams and Wine

Add the cleaned clams to the skillet, pour in the white wine, and sprinkle the prepared seasoning blend over the top. Cover the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened.

  4. 7

    Add Shrimp

Once the clams are open, add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Stir gently to combine and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

  5. 8

    Finish with Crab Meat

Gently fold in the jumbo lump crab meat, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through. Remove from heat.

  6. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the dish before serving. Serve hot with crusty bread or over rice.
