Wings

Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Season the Wings

In a bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss the wings in this mixture until they are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spread out evenly.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 5

    Bake the Wings

Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

Making the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and honey. Stir to combine.

  2. 7

    Simmer the Sauce

Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.

Tossing the Wings

  1. 8

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve Hot

Serve the buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side if desired.
