Prepare Taco Filling

Cook the Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Add Taco Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Simmer on low for about 5 minutes until thickened. If using shredded chicken or beef, mix them into the skillet at this stage.
Assemble Tacos

Warm Tortillas
In a dry skillet or microwave, warm the flour tortillas until soft and pliable.

Fill Tortillas
Place a generous portion of the cooked taco filling into the center of each tortilla.

Add Toppings
Top with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and diced tomato.

Heat Rice and Beans
In a small pot, heat the cooked rice and refried beans over medium heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
