Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the meat mixture into 3 equal portions and form each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
- 3
Cook the Patties
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.
Toppings Assembly
- 4
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, place the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by sliced onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and a drizzle of mustard and ketchup.
Fries Preparation
- 6
Cook the Fries
Prepare the frozen French fries according to package directions, typically baking or frying them until golden brown and crispy. Season with salt after cooking.
