Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced jalapeños, and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add Spinach

Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Cheese and Sour Cream

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and sour cream. Mix until well blended and creamy.

  2. 4

    Add Seasonings

To the cheese mixture, add the sautéed vegetables and the cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Baking

  1. 5

    Bake the Dip

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Warm

Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with tortilla chips, pita bread, or fresh veggies.
