Method

Prepare and Cook the Mushrooms

  1. 1

    Clean the mushrooms

Gently clean the wild mushrooms with a damp paper towel or soft brush to remove any dirt. Trim the stems if needed and slice larger mushrooms to uniform size.

  2. 2

    Sauté aromatics

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallot and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and translucent.

  3. 3

    Cook the mushrooms

Add the mushrooms to the skillet in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms have released their moisture and are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Season

Add fresh thyme leaves, salt, and black pepper to taste. Stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Finish and Serve

  1. 5

    Add lemon and truffle

Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and truffle oil. Toss to combine.

  2. 6

    Garnish and serve

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately as a side dish or appetizer.
