Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Caramelize the Onions

Slice the onion thinly. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and a pinch of salt, cooking them slowly until they are golden brown and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Patties

While the onions are caramelizing, form the ground beef into two equal patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In a separate skillet or grill, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Boursin cheese on each patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche buns lightly. On the bottom bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the tomato slices, the cooked patty with melted Boursin cheese, and finally the caramelized onions. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately while hot, with your favorite sides.
