Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab

Rinse the Alaskan King Crab legs under cold running water to remove any debris or ice. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Cook the Crab

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add sea salt to taste. Once boiling, carefully add the crab legs and cover the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

  3. 3

    Prepare Clarified Butter

While the crab is cooking, melt the clarified butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Once melted, keep it warm without boiling.

  4. 4

    Cut the Lemon

Cut the lemon into wedges for serving. You can also squeeze some juice over the crab if desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the crab legs from the pot and drain. Serve hot with the warm clarified butter and lemon wedges on the side.
