Hummus Preparation

    Prepare the Chickpeas

    Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water.

    Blend Ingredients

    In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, garlic cloves, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water.

    Blend Until Smooth

    Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. You can adjust the consistency by adding more water if necessary.

    Taste and Adjust

    Taste the hummus and adjust the salt or lemon juice to your preference.

Foul Preparation

    Prepare the Fava Beans

    Drain and rinse the canned fava beans under cold water.

    Mash the Fava Beans

    In a mixing bowl, mash the fava beans with a fork or potato masher until slightly chunky.

    Combine Ingredients

    Add the mashed fava beans, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, and salt to the bowl. Mix well.

    Garnish with Parsley

    Fold in the chopped fresh parsley and sprinkle with paprika for added flavor.

Assembly and Garnish

    In a serving dish, create a swirl of hummus and fava bean mixture together.

    Drizzle the top with olive oil and sprinkle with chili flakes and additional parsley for garnish.
